Submersible Sump Pump
Sits inside the pit below water level. Quieter, more powerful, and handles higher water volume than pedestal models. Our default recommendation for most Columbus basements.
Battery Backup System
When the power goes out during a storm exactly when you need your sump pump most a battery backup keeps running.

A sump pump is only as good as its installation. We size it right, route the discharge properly, and make sure the whole system works before we leave.
Free Assessment
We look at your current pit, existing discharge lines, and water volume history to spec the right pump and backup for your specific situation.
Pit Prep
If there's no pit yet, we core one. If there is, we inspect it to confirm it's the correct size and depth for the pump to function properly.
Pump & Backup Install
Primary pump goes in with a check valve on the discharge line. Battery backup unit is mounted and wired alongside it ready to take over automatically.
Test & Walk-Through
We run water through the system to confirm it kicks on, pumps correctly, and discharges away from your foundation. You see it work before we pack up.
Frequently Asked Questions
Most submersible pumps last 7 to 10 years with normal use. If yours is approaching that range or has never been replaced, it is worth having it checked before storm season.
If you lose power during a heavy storm, your primary pump goes offline exactly when it needs to be running. A battery backup is cheap insurance compared to a flooded basement. We recommend it on every install.
Yes. A pump that never shuts off means either the float switch is stuck or the water table is high enough that the pump cannot keep up. Both need to be addressed. Call us and we will take a look.
Generally 24 to 36 inches deep and at least 18 inches in diameter for a submersible pump to function properly. We inspect the existing pit before recommending a pump to make sure the sizing is right.
The pump swap itself is straightforward if the pit and discharge line are already in place. The harder parts are cutting a new pit, routing discharge correctly, and making sure the check valve is installed properly. We are happy to take it off your plate.
